ROYALTY

Kongelig

Being part of our Royalty is more than just representing our city and festival.  It's about new experiences, adventures and friendships.

It's both rewarding and challenging in many ways, and the experiences gained here will follow you through your entire life!

Each of our Royalty receives a scholarship towards college.  We also want to make sure these ladies who are thinking about running should know that the Royalty Committee and the Board of Directors feel strongly that family, church and school should be first and foremost.

Attendance of all Syttende Mai related activities is not mandatory, should there be a conflict, we are willing to make necessary adjustments so you are not made to choose one event or function over the other.

Please visit our past year's royalty page to get an idea of the history of our royalty family and all the experiences just waiting for our young ladies!  You can also follow the royalty's year as it unfolds on their Facebook page too.

We would like to thank the Royalty Committee for all their hard work, dedication and contributions.

PRINCE KASTON - THE SKI JUMPER

On October 26th the Snowflake Ski Club held their first tournament on their brand new plastic surface.  The day saw many juveniles and even a few teens for this historic event on this special surface.

Included were Kaston Compton, Westby Syttende Mai Royalty Prince, as he bravely tried on ski boots and skis for the very first time.
